On August 10th 2017, 2018 Mitsubishi Expander will debut at the International Auto Show in Indonesia. Production of the new three-row SUV from Mitsubishi was announced for October. And the production will take place in the new factory that the company has just opened for this reason.
Although the 2018 Mitsubishi Expander was introduced in the concept of a variant last year, this design is even older. Last year’s Mitsubishi XM creates much more resemblance to the Mitsubishi eX concept that the audience had the opportunity to see in 2015 in Tokyo.

In fact, the complete exterior design points to new models of the Mitsubishi model line up. A long 4475 mm, 1750 mm wide and 1700 mm high, this new SUV provides space for 6 or 7 passengers. X and M codes from the concept are clearly indicated on the characteristics of crossover vehicles and MPV. Specs and Competition
With the new platform, the new drive unit for this SUV was followed. Thus, the serial product will run a 1.5 L petrol engine. His strength was not announced. It’s only known that the engine will be paired with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. This SUV will not have a 4×4 drive, even as an option. The drive will only be on the front wheels.
2018 Mitsubishi Expander could be offered on the market of Japan and Europe. Other markets are not mentioned, although it’s still early. As for Asia, the 2018 Expander SUV could replace the Nissan Grand Livina. This would mean that the model will also be available with Nissan’s label on it.
