The new Honda sports car, better known as baby NSX, now has its name. Besides the title, the public appeared some more information about him. 2018 Honda ZSX is the name of a future athlete, who draws design solutions from the NSX model. However, this car is the direct successor to the Honda S2000 model, for many reasons.
2018 Honda ZSX Release Date
In 2008, Honda protected ZSX’s name, and recently announced its use. Although some sources have said that the concept of this model will be presented in Detroit 2017, this did not happen. All information regarding this has not been officially confirmed by the Honda company. The next announcement S2000 just delayed the presentation. Little by little, it will come to an official announcement. Confirming more and more returnees in the automotive world, it is the green light for the 2018 Honda ZSX, or the successor to the S2000 model.
In the previous model range, one with the drive on the rear axle was distinguished. It was the Honda S2000. Very similarly designed, there will be 2018 Honda ZSX, which should take the place of the mentioned roadster model. A photo of the interior of the future model became available on July 17 this year. We can freely say that this photo is a mere turning away from concrete facts. One is that Honda will again postpone the appearance of this model. And the second, that it is not yet known which engine will provide the desired specification.
2018 will be marked for 20 years since the first Honda S2000 model appeared on the market. Given that the Honda has recently placed the new Civic Type R and NSX models. We can assume that some of the powertrain units will be offered along with the 2018 ZSX Roadster. These are a 2.0-liter twin-turbo engine from the Civic Type R models. A full 2.0 L twin-turbo engine as the basis for this powertrain it will serve a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder in-line unit, instead of the current twin-turbo. This engine has about 320 horsepower. The new propulsion system should be coupled with 8-speed transmission with double clutch.
